The ASL 112 RIM Control is a fully proportional joystick mounted at the head. Neutral position is not pressing on the headrest, to move the wheelchair in a forward direction you must press back on the headrest and to make it go faster you press further. For left and right you apply pressure to the left or right side of the back pad and the speed will depend on how much the joystick is deflected. Reverse is achieved by programming of the wheelchair electronics. Deflecting a reset switch mounted on the side of the headrest will allow the forward direction to become reverse.
Must Specify Wheelchair Electronics.
